Meet the Faces behind Kilo and Frei K-9,LLC!!

I am a retired Mckinney Police K9 Officer, and a USMC Veteran. I have 20+ years experience in training. Since retiring, I have opened my own kennel where I specialize in basic obedience, behavior modification and specialty training.
We are a family run business, where the entire family is a part of our day to day. Our Son, Devin has joined us to assistant train. He has been a tremendous blessing to the business and having him working along side of me makes my job even more fun!
Meet my wife Sarah!! She’s the brains behind this operation. You’ll talk to her for all bookings and all things admin! She’s also the face behind our breeding programs. When it comes to puppies, she is the point of contact you’ll want to talk to! She sleeps, eats and breathes those litters when they’re on the ground. She handles all health and genetic testing, and most importantly implements canine puppy culture and evaluates appropriate home placements. Most recently she has embarked on an overseas K9 purchase, and is single handedly expanding our breeding program into the Police K9 side!!
Our 2 girls Arianna and Ava are a big part of our programs as well! From feeding and training, to giving extra love to those pups that come through needing a little extra attention from some sweet kids! We incorporate the whole family!!
We focus on food based training, and socialization. We are appointed by AKC to offer session training focusing on completing CGC certification through the American Kennel Club. We take almost all breeds, (small breeds are on a case by case basis), And all ages from puppies up! We have a few different package options to choose from which include a 30 day board and train here at our facility, a 2 week long puppy board and train for dogs under 6 months, a 2 week program for dogs 6 months and up, and private training options for you to come here weekly or train in a public setting. We keep our rates competitive as it is the average family is who needs these services most. Once you train with us we provide support to transition the training back to you, and will do follow ups to ensure satisfaction.
We are also a small home based breeder of Czech and Polish working line GSD. Our dogs are our family members first and foremost. They are so well loved and involved in our every day life. We take pride in having the privilege of breeding such excellent animals!! Our focus is to breed quality dogs that have a balance of health, structure and temperament. We strive to breed puppies with the most stable, and sweet dispositions as possible, as they are bred for families. Along with temperament we look to breed dogs with balanced working drives. Our pups are all raised indoors with our family. We expose them to a variety of environmental stimulations and are handled daily. Thank you for visiting us!

This was our first time having one of our dogs go through training. Kilo and Frei Kennels did great. Bohdi responded to the trainer better than what I thought he would!.I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.​

I highly recommend Kilo and Frei Kennels. Aaron and his entire family are a pleasure to work with, and most importantly, they will treat your dog like their own. My one year old golden doodle got his behavior fixed on both walking and jumping on people. He was always a sweet puppy. But now he is a sweet puppy with good manners. We did the two week training option, and he is like a new dog. If you need your dog to be trained, use Kilo and Frei Kennels!
